This statement covers the Open Psychiatry Project website. It explains how accessible the site is, what we know is not working, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
What we aim for
We want everyone to be able to read and use this site, whatever device or assistive technology you use. In practice that means you should be able to navigate the whole site with a keyboard alone, magnify the text to twice its size without losing content, listen to it with a screen reader, and read it comfortably at high contrast.
This project is about mental health research, and a good part of our audience lives with conditions that make dense, cluttered pages hard to work through. We treat that as a design requirement rather than an afterthought, which is why the writing across the site is kept plain and every specialist term has a glossary entry.

Tell us and we will fix it. Describe what you were trying to do and what happened, and include the page address if you have it.
